Scholarship Description

The scholarship, established by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, provides financial support of 3466.90 PLN/month gross for the first two years and 5340.90 PLN/month gross after a positive mid-term evaluation for the subsequent two years.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • General Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field (specific requirements vary by topic)
    • Proficiency in English
    • Advanced programming skills and relevant research experience
  • Specific Requirements:
    • Hydrology and Hydrodynamic Department: Degree in physics, geophysics, mathematics, informatics, or related fields; programming skills (C++, Python); experience in field measurements and tracer studies
    • Magnetism Department: Master’s in physics, mathematics, or engineering; programming skills and knowledge of numerical methods; understanding of electromagnetism and fluid dynamics
    • Environmental Sciences: Master’s in hydraulic engineering, geophysics, geomorphology, or related fields; experience in remote sensing and GIS; coding skills (MATLAB, PYTHON, R)

  3. List of grades from first-cycle and second-cycle studies
