Authorization Mission Responsible – Bangui – RCA (H/F) – Central African Republic

As a high-level social and solidarity actor, the French Croix-Rouge led a network of more than 600 establishments and services in the fields of health, social medicine and education. It is an audit operation of 12 regional health and social institutes.

At the international level, the CRF operates in 16 coastal sites of national societies and two regional platforms (PIRAC and PIROI), under the following themes: health and civil protection.

Like the métiers it developed and created in France, the French Croix-Rouge indicates its missions at the international level in a permanent humanitarian action plan. This has been reflected through an articulation of emergency, post-emergency, crisis and reconstruction activities in order to achieve the best effectiveness. The objective is to take action to impact the population and give the population the opportunity to regain all its autonomy.

Working environment:

The French Croix-Rouge (CRF) has been operating at RCA since 2004. Together with the Société Nationale Hôte, the Croix-Rouge Central Africa (CRCA), the CRF is mainly active in the following areas:

• The care offer : Training paramédicale initiale et continued, renforcement des systèmes de santé, lutte against communicable diseases (VIH, tuberculosis, paludism…) and non-communicable diseases (malnutrition), santé de la mère, du nouveau-né et de l’enfant, santé communautaire, soutien psychosocial.
• Public health : access to drinking water and analysis, hygiene promotion, hygiene control, food safety, agricultural development and altitude.
• Crisis management ad hoc, due to the need to respond on site: emergency response in the event of crises and disasters (population displacement, etc.).

The CRF strategy in the Central African Republic is to work with the Central African Republic to help reduce the causes of vulnerabilities among the populations of Bangui and the Mambéré Kadei and to respond to specific situations and crises through development cooperation. Integrated interventions addressing essential population concerns provide technical support to the authorities in the field of aviation against VIH-Sida and TB.

The CRCA, with the French Croix-Rouge, ensures coordination with the competent health authorities at national, regional and local level. The deployment of the CRCA in the communities makes it possible to optimise relations with the local authorities. This has been confirmed by the voluntary organisation, which ensures the long-term sustainability of the project activities even after the project has been completed.

Qualifications and experience

Training in logistics (Bioforce type or license permit or Ecole de Gesten with a specialization) and experience of more than 2 years in one of the following fields or experience equivalent:
