Funding Information You can apply for up to $1,000. Qualifying expenses Artist Fees Art supplies Equipment rental costs Transportation costs (transportation of goods/equipment) Basic quality finish Capital Purchase Cost of renting a workspace Software required for the project Ineligible expenses Retroactive cost coverage Costs not directly related to the project being applied for Significant capital or infrastructure costs Promotion, merchandising and duplication Qualification criteria This grant will fund the following projects: Applicants must be individual artists aged 16-29 or a group of artists from an equitable community. If applying as a group, one artist must serve as project leader and be responsible for funding. Focus on creating new works of art It can be implemented in 4 months with a budget of up to $1,000. Performed by artists based in Toronto (this includes the City of Toronto, Scarborough, North York and Etobicoke only) For artists who do not receive funding for their artistic activities from the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts or other significant arts funders. Led by artists active in all artistic fields Led by artists with a track record of completing projects and achieving goals Disqualification criteria This grant does not support: Workshops & Events Promotions, Products, Reproductions Professional Development Part of a project (must be a complete art project) Requirements Applicants may receive up to two Artist Creative Project Grants. These grants are an extension of CUE’s Artist Grants, so grants issued by ArtReach or CUE are included in this total. Grantees must complete and submit a final report on their current ArtReach funded project prior to applying for re-funding. Work on your project cannot begin until your grant payment has been received. Applicants may receive less than the amount requested. Applicants may only submit one application per funding round for this grant program. Grant review team members cannot apply for the same funding round they are reviewing.
