Unleash your creativity with new pen tools in OneNote

Hello, Microsoft 365 Insiders! My name is Victoria Chen and I am a product manager on the Office AI team. We’re excited to announce that we’ve added two new pens to the Draw tab in Windows OneNote: fountain pen and brush pen!

We’ve also updated the pen icon to give your favorite productivity apps a new, consistent look.

You have requested to add more pens and we are happy to provide:

• fountain pen You can create thinner lines and detailed letters. You can control the thickness of your writing using speed and pressure.

How it works

1. When the fountain pen and brush pen do not appear on the screen draw In the tab Add pen Press the button and then select the pen you want to add.

2. If you want to test out a new pen, try out different pen thicknesses and colors.

3. To define a custom ink palette for a pen, select the pen and then more colors or dropper equipment.

This feature is available to Insiders running OneNote on Windows version 2408 (build 18011.20000) or later.
