Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Gold Milestone, the highest level attainable and recent college graduate. Each blog in this series will feature a different student, highlighting their accomplishments, their experiences in the Student Ambassador community, and what they have been up to. Today we meet Panshark Recently graduated Bachelor’s degree computer science At university Jos, Nigeria. Responses have been edited for clarity and length. When did you join the Student Ambassador community? I joined in 2022. What is it like to be a student ambassador? I was amazed. It remains one of the best decisions I have ever made as a person. In addition to the quantum growth I experienced, I met great people and had a lot of fun. I was doing what I love, learning and teaching people. Was there a particular experience that had a profound impact on you while you were participating in the program? And why? Looking back, I cherish the moment when I first spoke in front of a crowd of over 300 people in Abuja, Nigeria. In front of the most brilliant minds. That event took me from alpha to beta.. Tell me about the skills you gained as a student ambassador. How did these skills help you in your journey after graduating from college? My niche is Power Platform. Teaching, learning, and building solutions using Power Platform has set the pace for my current career since I graduated from college. My first job was in a Power Platform role, and basically what I have been doing since I joined the Student Ambassador Program: teaching and building solutions. The second skill set I have acquired is public speaking. I have lost count of the number of platforms I have spoken on, both domestically and internationally, in the past year. What would you like to tell students around the world about the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program? This program can change you. It will develop you professionally, instilling a great work ethic and approach to work, and changing your mindset around collaboration and soft skills. At the end of the journey, you will have a mindset powerful enough to make real changes. What advice would you give to new student ambassadors just starting out in the program? Read the handbook. (Laughs) It goes without saying. Read a lot. Be curious. A curious mind will always find opportunities to grow. Share your favorite quote! It could be from a movie, a song, a book, or someone you know personally. Let us know why you chose it. What does it mean to you? “Wisdom is the most important thing.” This quote sums up everything I value as a human being. Tell us some interesting stories about yourself and your travels. I love football. I support Manchester United. I also love dogs.
