These updates are designed to reduce customer confusion and improve the overall quota management experience. What changes? New vCore-based limits: that The new limits are based on vCores per subscription per region, which directly equates to DTUs and DWUs. Default Logical Server Limits: All new and existing subscriptions will now be capped at 250 logical servers. Previous limits on logical server DTUs have been discontinued. Configurable vCore limits: Customers now have the convenience of easily changing their subscription limits through the Support section of the Azure Portal, with approvals typically processed within minutes. A new portal experience: Below is an example of the new portal experience where customers can view their existing limits and current vCore usage, and request higher limits. Existing limitations: Subscriptions approved for limits exceeding the default settings of the legacy system will be seamlessly transitioned to the new system without any changes to approved limits.
