I’m Brian Meersma, a product manager on the Loop team. I’m excited to share that you can now share microsoft loop Workspaces, pages, and components with guest users. Guest sharing is now possible in Microsoft Loop. We’ve heard from many of you that you want the flexibility to work with people outside your organization in Loop. We’re now making that possible by allowing you to share Loop workspaces, pages, and components as guests. Users in organizations that do not use sensitivity labels will be able to share any email address, page, and component, subject to administrator policies. We plan to expand guest sharing to organizations that have sensitivity labels enabled later this year, when the sensitivity label feature for Loop workspaces becomes generally available. How it works Share Loop Page To share a Loop page with a guest user, open the Loop page you want to share and select: Share Select the button at the top right of the page Page LinkAnd choose setting. Loop’s page sharing options at Link settings Select from the page The people you choose In Options, enter the email address of the guest you want to share the page with and select it. apply button. Link settings options on Microsoft Loop pages Share the page link with anyone you’ve given guest access to via Teams, Outlook, or another app. Sharing Loop Workspace To share a Loop workspace with a guest user, open the workspace and select: Share Click the button at the top right of the page and select it. An email will be automatically sent to the guest user. Sharing options in Microsoft Loop workspace memo: You can only add guest users who already have a guest account in your tenant. If the user does not have an existing guest account in your tenant, share the page first, then wait a moment before sharing the workspace. Tips and Tricks You can invite existing guests to your workspace. When inviting a new guest, you must first share your Loop page, then wait 1-2 hours before sharing your workspace. Requirements To create a Loop workspace, you must use a Microsoft 365 Enterprise, EDU, or SMB license. Your tenant admin must enable guest sharing. Guest sharing is only available to organizations that do not use sensitivity labels. If your organization uses sensitivity labels, this feature will be available later this year. effectiveness Guest sharing is currently available to all Microsoft 365 subscribers who meet the requirements noted above.
