Authorization/Qualification:

• Promotion in Molecular biology, enzymology, computational biology, biochemistry or related fields
• The doctorate must have been obtained within 3 years before the start date
• Strong written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration
• Experience with enzymes and protein prediction software; familiarity with yeast is an advantage

Job description:

1. Design and research of plant glucan synthases and biopolymer engineering
2. Use predictive protein engineering approaches and perform in vitro experiments
3. Present your results at laboratory meetings and scientific conferences
4. Prepare reports, manuscripts and research proposals
5. Contribute to the decarbonisation of the fuel and chemicals industry by promoting sustainable carbon sources
